Description

Valerian (Valeriana Officinalis L.) is a flowering plant from the Valerianaceae family and used as an active substance in nutraceuticals and skincare products.

Nutraceuticals:

  1. Sedative Properties: Valerian has been traditionally used for its sedative and anxiolytic (anxiety-reducing) properties. In nutraceuticals, it is employed as a natural remedy for mild sleep disorders and to promote relaxation.
