Calendula officinalis, also known as marigold, is a flowering plant from the Asteraceae family and used as an active ingredient in nutraceuticals and skin care products for personal care.
There are plenty of medicinal properties, including the use in masking, skin conditioning, against headaches, red eye, fever and toothaches, and in external symptoms it cares for and softens rough, chapped or chapped skin (due to cold, dry air) and is also suitable for the care of fissures and cracks.
