Description

Chinese onion or Allium chinense, a cultivated plant in the Netherlands, is a flowering plant from the Allioideae (formerly Alliaceae) family and used as an active substance in nutraceuticals and skin care products.

Many other varieties and species are also available, for example sativum, tuberosum, hookeri, porrum and victorialis.
